Possible School Bus Delays/Stop Changes For Green Brook Reported

Due to road paving on Warrenville Road on Thursday and Friday, Green Brook Public Schools announced there may be bus delays or stop changes.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — Due to road paving on Warrenville Road on Thursday and Friday, Green Brook Public Schools announced there may be bus delays or stop changes.

Work will begin on Thursday depending on weather and may take multiple days to complete on Warrenville Road south of Route 22 and also Wickett Avenue and Lenox Avenue.

As a result of this work, buses may be delayed or unable to reach their assigned stops. The GBTPS transportation office is coordinating with the Green Brook Police Department to get the most up-to-date information and minimize the impact on school transportation, the school announced.

Routes likely to be affected are as follows:

  • For the Green Brook Middle School, routes 109, 203, and 204.
  • For IEF Elementary School, routes 106, 204, and 209.

When the district has more information they will reach out via phone, email, and web postings. For now parents are advised to be aware and be prepared to make alternate arrangements.
