Roth IRA Workshop Offered for Somerset County
"Little Known ROTH IRA Conversion Strategies will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28

Branchburg, NJ -- The Somerset County Business Partnership Financial Services Special Interest Group (FiSIG) will present a workshop, “Little Known ROTH IRA Conversion Strategies” on Thursday, Jan. 28.
The workshop is scheduled for 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and will take place at White Oak Financial Group, 1250 Route 28, Suite 302, Branchburg.
Speaker for the workshop is Levent A. Bayrasli, CRPC, Financial Advisor and Managing Director of White Oak Financial Group, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.

A Roth IRA is an individual retirement account that is generally not taxed when accessed in retirement. The principle difference from most tax advantaged retirement plans is that rather than granting a tax break for money placed into the plan, the tax break is granted on the money withdrawn from the plan during retirement.

“The ROTH IRA can be a confusing option for many business owner,” commented Diana Sieberg, Vice-president of the Business Partnership. “Understanding the benefits is valuable knowledge when planning retirement.”
The FiSIG mission is to educate Business Partnership members and others on issues affecting personal and professional financial lives that are often intertwined in small and medium sized businesses. The group meets regularly to discuss economic and legislative issues that impact profitability, share best practices, and plan and implement educational workshops.
