Sculpture by Mount St. Mary Teacher Selected for Prestigious Exhibit

Original art work by Academy teacher will be featured in the PULP exhibit.

An original sculpture by Mount Saint Mary Academy art teacher Duffy Dillinger has been selected for display at the international juried exhibit PULP. Dillinger’s piece, entitled “Big Yellow Traveler,” was constructed of Styrofoam and covered in old atlas paper mache. It was inspired by Dillinger’s Labrador retriever and “other great beasts that like to wander.” The PULP exhibition, in which all artistic pieces are made with paper, will run from February 6 through March 1 at the LibertyTown Arts Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
