Sen. Kean's Staff to Offer Assistance in Basking Ridge

The constituent services staff of N.J. Sen. Tom Kean (R-District 21) will meet with area residents who have concerns regarding state matters during office hours scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25, in the , 32 South Maple Ave., Basking Ridge.

The team will travel this summer to various locations throughout the 21st District as part of its constituent service outreach program, according to an announcement from Kean's office.

The staff will be available to assist residents with questions or concerns on state matters involving their New Jersey income tax account, motor vehicle registration, or difficulties they may be encountering with state departments such as Community Affairs, Human Services, or Banking and Insurance, the announcement suggested.

The senator's staff also can assist the public with questions on about Notary Public applications.

Other constituency towns welcome, too

Appointments are not necessary, according to the senator's office. The towns the senator represents in Somerset County also include Far Hills, Warren and Watchung.

Anyone from from any part of Dist. 21, which includes Watchung, is welcome to stop by the staff's “desk,” with the outreach a way of making it convenient for residents who don’t live as close to Kean's home Westfield district office.

Kean himself was at a meeting of the Somerset County Business Partnership held earlier this spring in Basking Ridge, to discuss state government issues affecting the area's business community, and to take questions from local business people.
