Shoplifters Wanted For Stealing 5 Bags Of Shrimp In Watchung

2 other shoplifters are also wanted for stealing shoes from DSW in Watchung in a separate incident, police report.

WATCHUNG, NJ — Watchung Police report four people wanted for shoplifting including two who stole shrimp in the borough.

On July 29 at 7:11 p.m., Stop and Shop on Route 22 West reported two shoplifters who fled from the store with merchandise.

The first suspect was described as a 5'10" bald black man weighing about 190 pounds wearing a brown T-shirt, camouflage shorts and black shoes. The second suspect was described as 5'7" black man weighing about 160 pounds wearing a red T-shirt, gray sweatpants, black shoes and a black hat, Watchung Police report.

Each suspect removed five bags of shrimp from the seafood section before fleeing from the store with the merchandise valued at $191, police report.

Police are investigating.

On July 26 at 7:16 p.m.: DSW Shoes on Route 22 West reported two shoplifters who fled from the store with merchandise. The first suspect was described as a bald Hispanic man in his 50's wearing a gray polo shirt and dark blue jeans. The second suspect was described as a redheaded black woman in her 50's wearing a gray dress. The man removed a pair of boots valued at $80 and the woman removed a pair of sneakers valued at $110. Police are investigating.

On July 29 at 10:06 p.m.: Tyree Montford, 32, of Newark was arrested for shoplifting a 55" Samsung TV valued at $598 from Walmart. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.

On July 27 at 8:52 a.m.: Ruben Acevedo, 41, of Paterson was arrested for having a warrant out of East Hanover for $350. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on full bail.

On July 27 at 8:35 a.m.: Shameerah Peterson, 28, of Delair was arrested for having a warrant out of East Orange for $217 following a traffic stop on Somerset Street. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting full bail.

On July 29 at 8:57 a.m.: Frederick Bryant, 62, of Plainfield was arrested for having warrants out of Watchung for $500, Plainfield for a total of $1,500, Union for $750, Piscataway for $1,436 and Middlesex for $500. He was unable to post bail and was transported to Somerset County Jail.

On July 26 at 10:11 a.m.: Jacob Rivera, 41, of Bloomfield was arrested for having a warrant out of Union following a traffic stop on Somerset Street. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting full bail.

On July 23 at 3:38 p.m.: Gregory Zarhardt, 71, of Watchung was arrested for having a warrant out of Plainfield for $750. He was transported to headquarters, processed and transported to Plainfield Police headquarters.

On July 24 at 11:33 p.m.: Jorge Adams, 24, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.

On July 23 at 1:07 p.m.: Daniel Comar, 25, of Sayerville was arrested for having a warrant out of Watchung for $500. He was transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.

On July 22 at 12:18 a.m.: Marco Manobanda-Remache, 34, of Silver Spring, Maryland was arrested for driving while intoxicated during a disable motor vehicle call. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
