GREEN BROOK, NJ – Somerset County is holding 11 free document shredding events in a program called “Operation Secure Shred” over the next seven months throughout the county. Two of the opportunities will be at the Green Brook municipal building on June 14 and October 18.
County residents can bring up to six containers, boxes or bags, of private papers to the assigned location where they will be completely destroyed by trained and bonded staff. Any paper document is permitted with the exception of bulk mail, magazines and newspapers. Paper clips and staples may be left in the documents.
