Spring Fling Cooking Demo And Tasting For Somerset County Women
Women in Business, a special interest group will host a Spring Fling Cooking Demo & Tasting on Thursday, April 21 at Aurora Kitchens

Somerville, NJ -- The Somerset County Business Partnership “Women in Business” special interest group has scheduled a low key, entertaining, and educational networking opportunity, “Spring Fling Cooking Demo & Tasting” on Thursday, April 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Aurora Kitchens & Interiors, 10 East Cliff Street in Somerville.
Guests will watch and participate in a cooking demonstration by Chef Barbara Markowitz, named NJ Monthly’s “Most Raved About Caterer.”
Focus of the demonstration will be “The Art of Pesto and Super Spring Salads and Dressings.” Wine and soft drinks sponsored by Somerset Hills Property management will accompany the food.

Aurora Kitchens and Interiors is a women-owned business focused on improving the design, layout and livability of a client’s home dedicated to competitive pricing and face to face service.
Chef Barbara Markowitz studied at the Studied at the Ritz Escoffier Paris Cooking School in Paris, France and is the Special Events Chef for Wakefern/Shoprite.

“Combining fun with networking is the hallmark of the Women in Business events,” commented Diana Sieberg, Vice-president of the Business Partnership. “The opportunity to learn, to dine, and to make contacts, all at one time in one place, is good for business.”

“Women in Business” is a Business Partnership initiative directed at the specific needs of women and their businesses. The purpose of the group is to provide learning opportunities about other women-owned businesses. Focus areas include mind, family, society, body, and finances.
