“Where are we supposed to park?” Tallwoods resident James Schroeder asked. “They give us two spots, but we have four people that drive. Now we are going to have to compete with the people at Green Brook Gardens. The board should have spoken to us before sending a request.”
Tallwoods board member Shailesh Chirpotkar and Township Engineer Richard Roseberry said the change was needed for safety reasons. Roseberry reported on the need for the ban at the Aug. 20 committee meeting, where committee members expressd support for the proposal.

“Visibility is blocked by parked vehicles,” Roseberry said. “I have gone out to look and I support allowing no parking.”
A second vote will be held following the public hearing, and if the ordinance is passed, the ban would go into effect 45 days later.
