Temple Har Shalom Day of Service - Come Perform a Mitzvah with us!

Temple Har Shalom Day of Service - Sunday, January 18, 9:00am - 11:00am.

Temple Har Shalom (104 Mount Horeb Road, Warren) will be holding their second annual Day of Service on Sunday, January 18th from 9:00am - 11:00am.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, all Congregants, parents and students to Lend a Hand and Make a Difference!

The day will be filled with many events enabling everyone to give back to the community and perform mitzvot to benefit those in need. The Day includes an American Red Cross Blood Drive (8:30am - 1:30pm); Gift of Life Bone Marrow cheek swabbing for a Temple member as well as the Registry; and Stuffing the Bus for El Centro. Donations for the bus range from clothing for all ages and sizes; blankets; sheets, children’s games, toys and books; food and so much more.

Temple Har Shalom Religious School Students (grades K-6) will be learning about tikkun olam (repairing the world). Knead to Feed will be selling challot and offering braiding classes. Day of Service participants can make lunch bags for the HUC Soup Kitchen as well as write letters to the troops. Our Mountain Top and all pre-school and Kindergarten age students will be making scarves to keep those in need warm.
