Three Somerset County Residents Arrested For String Of Armed Robberies
Three Somerset County Residents were arrested for their roles in a string of armed robberies that took place along Route 23 this week.

Two Bernards Township area residents were arrested for their roles in a string of armed robberies that took place along Route 23 in Sussex and Morris counties this week.
Hardwick Stires, 20, of Basking Ridge, was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree armed robbery, one count of third-degree terroristic threats, two counts of third-degree theft, one count of fourth-degree theft and three counts of possession of an imitation firearm.
Cassandra Post, 18, of Liberty Corner and Robert Colomban, Jr., 19, of Far Hills were also arrested and were both charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, according tonj.com.

Earlier this week, police said two suspects walked into the Plains Pharmacy in Franklin Township on Tuesday around 7 p.m. demanding money while one brandished a handgun, according to News12.
Similar events also took place at stores in Kinnelon and Wantage on Monday, Dec. 1 - one at the Kinnelon liquor store and another at the Delta gas station.

According to The Daily Record, the two suspects being pursued were described as followed:
Suspect 1:
- white male
- in his mid 20’s
- approximately 6 feet tall
- between 180 and 200 pounds
- clean-shaven with a ‘regular haircut’
- wearing solid blue pants and a blue and black flannel shirt
Suspect 2:
- carrying a gun
- white male
- approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall
- approximately 185 pounds
- wearing a black winter coat with the hood up and a black mask or scarf over his nose and mouth
- also black winter gloves
