Township Continues Hearing on Parking Ban

The Green Brook Township Committee was scheduled to hold a public hearing and second vote on the proposed ban on parking on Rock Avenue between Tallwoods Lane and Cardinal Lane, Monday.

But after publication of the required legal notice of the hearing was delayed, the committee was forced to continue the hearing to the next meeting.

Mayor Jerry Searfoss invited comments from the public after the hearing was opened, but no one present at the meeting wanted to comment.  

The ordinance was introduced at the Sept. 4 meeting.
