Two Facing DWI Charges in Watchung

Two men were charged with driving while intoxicated on July 22, according to Watchung Police.

Guido Macero-Gualpa, 31, of College Park, Md., was charged with DWI in a school zone after police stopped the vehicle he was driving on Route 22 at about 3 a.m. after observing the vehicle swerving between lanes, police said. He was also charged with reckless driving, failing to maintain his lane and failing to produce a driver's license before being released in the custody of a friend.

At 9:08 p.m. July 22, police charged Luis Barajas, 50, of Summit, with DWI after he was stopped on Somerset Street. He was also charged wth reckless driving and failing to wear his seat belt before being released in the custody of his son.
