Uber Driver Assaulted After Declining Ride: N. Plainfield Police
The 2 men reportedly assaulted the Uber driver when he would not drive them to Bronx, New York.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — An Uber driver reported being assaulted after declining a ride in North Plainfield on Saturday night.
At 9:02 p.m. the Uber driver reported he was in the area of 550 Rockview Ave. when two black men assaulted him when he would not take them to Bronx, New York, according to the North Plainfield Police report.
During the fight, $500 was taken from the driver's wallet, which was inside the vehicle, according to the report.

The driver was treated at the scene by the North Plainfield Fire Rescue squad. He refused to go to the hospital, police report.
