Watchung EMS, Firefighters Assist in Warren Fire
Warren firefighters handle attic fire, while Watchung volunteers provide backup support.

Watchung volunteers provided support as Warren firefighters extinguished an attic fire on Mountainview Road late Wednesday night.
The fire in the home, which was located about 150 feet off Mountainview Road, was reported when the resident returned home at about 9:40 p.m.
Warren Fire Chief Michael LoSapio said about 45 or 50 volunteer firefighters were on scene at the fire, with all Warren fire companies, and Liberty Corner Fire Co., responding. Warren and Watchung rescue squads were on hand to provide any firefighter resucitation needed because of the heat, but Chief LoSapio said no injuries were reported.
