Watchung, Green Brook Police To Participate In Operation Take Back Saturday

The Watchung and Green Brook Police will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

WATCHUNG/GREEN BROOK, NJ — The Watchung and Green Brook Police Departments will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction on Saturday.

This collection will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's “Operation Take Back.”

This initiative seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. All residents are encouraged to participate and dispose of their unwanted prescriptions in a safe manner.

Residents can drop off prescriptions at Watchung Township Police Department, 840 Somerset St. in Watchung or Green Brook Police Department, 109 Green Brook Road in Green Brook.
