Watchung To Host Annual Patriot Walk On Independence Day

The Patriot Walk is free and open to the community.

WATCHUNG, NJ — The Borough of Watchung will celebrate Independence Day with its annual Patriot Walk, a family-friendly tradition inviting residents to stroll around Watchung Lake dressed in red, white and blue.

The event will take place Saturday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to noon at Watchung Lake, located at the intersection of Stirling Road and Mountain Boulevard.

Participants are encouraged to show their patriotic spirit by wearing festive attire.

The event will feature contests and prizes for the most patriotic child, family and pet. Following the walk, attendees can enjoy free snacks and beverages at the pavilion.
