Watchung Locals Without Power Friday
Widespread outages are being reported across the state. PSE&G reports 5,400 and JCP&L 19,981 customers are without power.

WATCHUNG, NJ — JCP&L and PSE&G are reporting widespread outages across Somerset County and the rest of the state Friday morning.
In Somerset County, JCP&L is reporting 193 Warren, 62 Watchung and fewer than five customers in Bedminster and Branchburg are without power.
PSE&G is reporting 63 Montgomery and fewer than five Hillsborough, Raritan and Manville customers are without power.

The outages for the PSE&G and Jersey Central Power & Light customers are due to an issue at a JCP&L substation, NJ.com reported.
Nearby counties including Union, Morris, Essex, Hunterdon, Ocean, Sussex, Hudson, Bergen and Mercer are also experiencing power outages.

PSE&G reports a total of 5,400 customers and JCP&L reported 19,981 customers are without power as of 7:40 a.m.
