Watchung Police Make Drug Arrests

Watchung Borough Police charged two men with drug possession last week, following two separate incidents.

On April 28, police charged Benjamin Lozovsky, 29, of Brooklyn, with possession of marijuana, possession of hashish and possession of drug paraphrenalia at 12:25 p.m. after stopping the vehicle he was driving on Stirling Board. He was also charged with failing to yield the right-of-way, driving with an expired registration, suspended registration, driving an uninsured vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance in a car before being released pending an appearance in municipal court.

Police charged Olexandr Kononenko, 25, of Parsippany, with possession of marijuana and drig paraphrenalia at 1:19 p.m. April 30 after investigating a vehicle parked at the end of Parlin Lane.
