Watchung Police Report Increase in Car Burglaries

Watchung Police reported an increase in the number of vehicle break-ins in the area recently.

Police told residents to remember to remove valuable items, including electronics and dash mounted GPS devices, from your car, lock your car doors and do not leave keys in your vehicle.

Residents should call police immediately if they see someone looking into cars or pulling on car door handles to see if they are locked or unlocked.
