Watchung School Receives Funding For Sustainability Projects
Valley View Middle School received a $2,000 grant to fund its Hydroponic Tower Gardens.

WATCHUNG, NJ — One Watchung school was among 47 in New Jersey to be selected to receive Sustainable Jersey for Schools grants funded by the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA).
Valley View Middle School received a $2,000 grant to fund its Hydroponic Tower Gardens.
"Valley View School is excited to start a Tower Garden with this generous grant. The Environmental Club will begin the planting, and then the entire garden can be moved throughout the school and used to teach students about aeroponics to grow fresh, healthy food," said Mary Nunn, principal of Valley View Middle School.
