Woman Tells Police She's Been Harassed

A 19-year-old Green Brook woman told police she was being harassed by a Hillsborough man she met about a year ago, after he allegedly contacted friends of hers inquiring about her address. 

Police attempted to contact the man after she said he had asked mutual friends for her phone numbers and home address in July, as well as woking another friend up at 4 a.m. Aug. 7 wanting to know where to find her.

The woman told police that after meeting through thier mutual friends, the 21-year-old man befriended her on Facebook. But when he began posting random messages and requests for contact, she "unfriended" him.  

She told police the man's friends said he had experienced mental health problems in the past, and that his repeated inquiries made her concerned about her safety.

Police are attempting to contact the man to advise him of complaint.
