“The Woodford Brothers” Comes to the Watchung Arts Center on October 15

Formerly String Fever and 3Stones. Bluegrass and more.

The Watchung Arts Center welcomes the Woodford Brothers Band for a concert on Saturday, October 15 at 8PM. Familiar to WAC audiences for the unique harmonic blend of their three voices as members of String Fever and 3Stones, Peter Becker on mandolin and guitar, Bruce Jepson on guitar and mandola, and Sandy Joren on acoustic and electric bass are joined by percussionist Dave Stoker. The evening will include a dessert reception with an opportunity to meet the members of the band.

The Woodford Brothers Band plays the music they love. Inspired by many genres such as bluegrass, folk, jazz, blues, and country, The Woodford Brothers perform great original songs and a variety of covers that may take you by surprise. The music of this eclectic group ranges from Bill Monroe to Emerson, Lake and Palmer, along with plenty of good stuff in between, all done in their own way with sweet harmonies, heart, soul and fun!

Tickets are $16 in advance, $20 ($18 for WAC members, $10 for students) at the door. Tickets may be purchased online at watchungartscenter.eventbrite.com. To obtain more information about upcoming performances, classes and workshops, and monthly art exhibitions, please visit WatchungArts.org or call 908-753-0190.
