Zimmer School Children Celebrate Supper in the Sukkah!
Our children from toddlers through first grade enjoyed welcoming their families to come for an evening of songs, food, and friendship!
The children were so excited to host Supper in the Sukkah this week! What a treat for young children to be able to invite their parents and siblings to come to a supper that they prepared! The children spent many days making costumes, learning songs, and preparing food to share with our Zimmer families. Each class contributed a different course to the dinner. Our kindergartners and first graders chopped vegetables for the fresh salad. The 3-year-old class brought in their favorite vegetables to put into their Sukkot soup. The Pre-K class rolled out garlic and herb breadsticks and our toddler class prepared yummy cinnamon cake for dessert. We had a wonderful evening sharing supper with each other inside the cozy Sukkah walls!
