13 Fugitives Found In 2-Day Passaic Co. Operation: Prosecutor

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Law enforcement found 13 fugitives in a two-day warrant-enforcement operation, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. Their underlying charges included aggravated assault, robbery and terroristic threats, authorities said.
The operation, which took place Tuesday and Wednesday, involved the prosecutor's office, Passaic County Sheriff's Department, and police departments in Wayne, Totowa and Paterson. All arrested individuals had outstanding arrest warrants or bench warrants for failure to appear in court for offenses that occurred in Passaic County, authorities said.
The prosecutor's office didn't publicly identify anyone charged.

"This week’s warrant enforcement action is the first step in a coordinated effort by law enforcement agencies in Passaic County working collaboratively to ensure our residents enjoy a safe summer season," the prosecutor's office said in a news release.
