$197K Lottery Ticket Sold In Passaic County

Somebody who bought a New Jersey Lottery ticket in the area just won big.

PASSAIC, NJ — Somebody who purchased a lottery ticket in Passaic County just won big.

La Colmena Meat Market (460-462 Monroe St., Passaic) sold a ticket that generated $197,181. The ticket came from New Jersey Lottery's $5 Jersey Jackpot Fast Play game.

Fast Play Progressive is a series of games printed on-demand from any lottery terminal. The price of the ticket determines the portion of the jackpot that purchasers can win:

  • $20 and $10 Fast Play Progressive tickets can win 100 percent of the jackpot.
  • $5 tickets can win half of the jackpot.
  • $3 tickets can win 30 percent.
  • $2 tickets win 20 percent.
  • $1 tickets can take home 10 percent of the jackpot.

The Fast Play Progressive jackpot stands at $212,177 as of noon Thursday.
