2 NJ Teens Disappear From Group Home, Police Seek Help
The two missing children, 13 and 16, are known to frequent Elmwood Park.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Two North Jersey teens have disappeared from a group home in Passaic County, according to police.
Police are actively looking for 13-year-old Justin Lawes and 16-year-old Malaya DeVito, both of whom have been reported missing by the Youth Consultation Service in Paterson.
Justin is described as 5’8" with black hair and brown eyes.

Malaya is described as 5’4" with brown eyes and black/blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and burgundy pants, police said.
The two are known to frequent Elmwood Park in Bergen County, police added.

A Facebook post from a member of Malaya’s family said that she has medical and psychological needs that require daily medication for her safety. The post also said that the Randolph High School student has been missing since Oct. 25, and listed Paterson and New York City as somewhere she might have gone to.
