2 Wayne Residents Nominated To Be Judges By Governor Christie
Frank Covello tapped to become a Superior Court judge and William J. Roca was nominated to become a workers' compensation judge.

Governor Christie has nominated two Wayne residents to become Superior Court judges.
The nominations, announced Monday night, were part of a long list that included administrative law judges and workers compensation judges, NorthJersey.com reported.
Frank Covello, a Wayne resident who is the general counsel at the North Hudson Sewerage Authority, was nominated to become a Superior Court judge. Another resident, William J. Roca, was nominated to become a workers’ compensation judge. Roca was previously appointed to the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission in 2012 in an effort to “shake up” the agency, the website reported, but the nomination stalled in the Senate.
