2 Young Residents Starring in 'Les Miserables'

Production of French Revolutionary-era musical comes to the local stage.

Two 11-year-olds from Wayne are starring in a local production of “Les Miserables.”

Chole Ray is playing a young Cosette. Jade He is playing Gavroche Thenardier, a boy who lives on the street. Cosette is the daughter of Fantine, a grisette abandoned by her lover.

“Les Miserables” is set in 19th Century revolutionary France. It chronicles the tale of former prisoner Jean Valjean and Cosette, whom he adopts.

The Rhino Theater is located at 247 Wanaque Ave. in Pompton Lakes.

Performances will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Dec. 1 and Dec. 13 through 15. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $23 for adults, and $20 for children. To purchase tickets, call 973-248-9491.
