25K-Square-Foot Warehouse To Get Built In Wayne

WAYNE, NJ — A 25,000-square-foot warehouse is coming to Wayne. The Planning Board approved one of two warehouses Donnelly Construction intends to build on the Newark Pompton Turnpike.

Gensler is the architect for the building, which includes 1,800 square feet of office space and 2,080 square feet of mezzanine space. The warehouse is sited to maximize the available footprint on the site based on setbacks, site circulation and parking.

Donnelly Construction expects to break ground this spring.
“This development is a direct response to help meet the overwhelming demand for warehouse space in New Jersey given the growth in e-commerce and consumer spending habits over the course of the last 18-20 months,” said Chris Donnelly, vice president of Donnelly Construction.
