30th Anniversary of 1986 Mets: Mookie Wilson, Erik Sherman to Appear At Yogi Berra Museum

If the memory of a ground ball going through Bill Buckner’s legs makes you weepy-eyed, then mark April 7 on your calendar.

That’s the day the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center will host former Mets star Mookie Wilson and best-selling author Erik Sherman, who will discuss and sign copies of Sherman’s new book, “Kings of Queens: Life Beyond Baseball with the ‘86 Mets.”

“This year marks the 30th anniversary of the infamous world champion ‘86 Mets, who after their golden season ended, so did their aura of invincibility,” museum staff stated in a news release.

The event is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Books are $30. To RSVP call (973) 655-2378.
