WAYNE, NJ — Mayor Christopher Vergano reported no new coronavirus deaths on Thursday, but a death from July 7 was added to township totals.

The Wayne Township website was updated with three new coronavirus reports — July 7, 8 and 9 — which report no new deaths over the last two days.

There are three new coronavirus cases as of Thursday, according to Vergano, bring the township total of positive test results to 1,378, and coronavirus deaths to 173.

The New Jersey Department of Health reports 29 new cases of the coronavirus in Passaic County as of 1 p.m. on Thursday.

County totals now stand at 1,058 confirmed deaths, 17,000 positive test results and 158 probable deaths.

Mobile testing will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at these locations for the rest of July.

  • July 13 — Paterson Catholic High School, 764 11th Ave.
  • July 15 — Passaic County Community College, 500 Union Ave., Wanaque
  • July 17 — School No. 27, 250 Richmond Ave., Paterson
  • July 20 — School No. 11, 350 Market St., Paterson

To receive a test, you must have an I.D., be a Passaic County resident and bring a phone or tablet. Do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke within 30 minutes of your test.

Health insurance is not required.
