$64K Lottery Ticket Sold In Passaic County
It's not the historically high Mega Millions jackpot, but someone shopping in Passaic County just won some big bucks.
HEWITT, NJ — It wasn't the historically high Mega Millions jackpot, but someone shopping in Passaic County scored some big bucks in the New Jersey Lottery.
Jackpocket (355 Warwick Tpke., Hewitt) sold a Jersey Cash 5 ticket that generated $64,510 in Monday's drawing. The winning numbers were 01, 23, 24, 35, and 38, with an XTRA number of 03.
The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket.

New Jersey and much of the nation are recovering from a case of lottery fever after someone finally won the Mega Million jackpot. Somebody won the $1.34 billion prize last weekend after matching all the winning numbers, plus the Mega Ball, with a ticket purchased at a Speedway gas station in Des Plaines, Illinois. The cash option was $747.2 million, including taxes.
