The Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter, the leading volunteer-driven voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, advocacy and research is spotlighting people who make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia especially during the
COVID-19 pandemic. Today we say "thank you" to Stuart Ehrlich, who serves as the Early-Onset Memory Cafe founder, and facilitator, at Van Dyk Park Place in Hawthorne, NJ - now being held virtually beginning April 18 . Stu, a resident of Wayne, NJ in Passaic County, commutes from Florida to facilitate the group during "usual" times and now is more dedicated to hosting the virtual group from his southern residence. The program provides opportunities for persons diagnosed with early stage memory loss, and their care partner(s), to engage with peers in a relaxed, unstructured environment that promotes social engagement and support through
interaction with others experiencing similar changes. In addition, Stuart has recently started a weekly Vlog on YouTube - My Second Life: Living with Alzheimer's - that shares his journey with
the disease and encourages others to do the same. He welcomes questions, comments and
suggestions on topics you would like him to talk about. He can be reached at stuart041945@gmail.com.

Stuart enjoys helping people and is passionate about providing a safe place for caregivers, family
and friends of persons with early-onset dementia to develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, and learn about community resources.
