PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A six-year-old child is among a trio of shooting victims after gunfire erupted in Passaic County this weekend.
On Sunday, around 9 p.m., police were called to a Passaic home on Sherman Street on reports of gunfire.
Authorities found a 27-year-old Wallington woman had been shot alongside a six-year-old child, officials said.
Police also found a 20-year-old gunshot victim at the scene, authorities added.
All three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for nonfatal wounds.
The investigation into the shooting is underway, and no arrests or additional details have been announced at this time.
