PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County man died this week after a fatal motorcycle crash on the Garden State Parkway, officials said.
On Wednesday, around 12:15 p.m, police were called to the Garden State Parkway's milepost 155.5 in Clifton on reports of a crash.
Authorities learned that Bryant Tafurlopez, 37, of Haledon, while riding his Yamaha motorcycle southbound, slammed into the back of a Ford van, officials said.
Tafurlopez was thrown from the bike and sustained major injuries, according to police.
The biker was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
The crash is still under investigation by the New Jersey State Police.
