• Friday the 13th Returns to Its Jersey Roots in New Prequel Series (njmonthly.com) — A new Friday the 13th prequel series, Crystal Lake, filmed key scenes at William Paterson University, the Dobco building, and the Cotsakos College of Business in Wayne, tying the show closely to local landmarks. The production spent millions across New Jersey, using area camps, parks, and towns to recreate the fictional Crystal Lake and Wessex County. Horror fans may spot familiar Wayne backdrops when the series premieres on Peacock.
