Authorities learned that a 26-year-old man had been shot without being fatally wounded.

Investigators determined that the man had been shot in the area of River Street and Putnam Street in Paterson. However, Paterson police were unable to find any evidence of a shooting; therefore, they could not establish a crime scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects or arrests have been announced as of Thursday morning.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office tipline at 1-877-370-PCPO or tips@passaiccountynj.org, or the Paterson Police Shooting Investigation Unit at 973-321-1342.
