T-Mobile could have Colfax Road application carried to April 18.

An application to construct a cell phone tower at 200 Colfax Road could be moved to the board of adjustment's April 18 meeting.

The applicant, T-Mobile Northeast LLC, has requested the application, and one to construct a tower at 970 Valley Road, be rescheduled.

Both applications have been re-scheduled multiple times. The Valley Road application was carried from the Nov. 29 and Jan. 18 meetings.

The Colfax Road application, which requires several variances for completion, was carried from the Dec. 20 and Jan. 18 meetings. The application has been met with resistance by some members of the neighborhood. A use variance is a required part of the application since the antenna is to be constructed in a residential zone. A few dozen people showed up at the last meeting and left after learning the application was moved to tonight's meeting.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the council chamber at the municipal complex. It will be broadcast on channel 77 live and online here. Windows Media Player is required to view the broadcast online.
