Audition Notice: Ground Level Theatre's "Relation-SLIPS 2"

AUDITION NOTICE

Ground Level Theatre, a northern New Jersey regional theatre company, is holding auditions for its next production, Relation-SLIPS 2: More Moments From a Modern World. Relation-SLIPS 2 is a collected work of ten short plays that show some of the ins and outs and ups and downs of relationships.
The play is written by Michael Magenta.

Audition Dates and Times
Monday, March 16 from 6:30-9:00 pm
Tuesday, March 17 from 6:30-9:30 pm
Wednesday, March 18 from 6:30-9:30 pm
Thursday, March 19 from 6:30-9:30 pm

Sides will be provided on site.

WOMEN
DIANE, (40- 50) – She is waking up to a new opportunity.
JANE, (35 - 45) – For better or worse Jane is her own woman.
AMY, (30’S) – She is dealing with a challenge from within.
MELANIE, (30 - 40) – Melanie has had a bad day.
LAURA, (40’S) – Today she recounts the delight of being a daughter as well as a mother.
ELAINE, (65+) – A true matriarch she is both strong and funny.
RANDI, (20 - 30) – She has learned from her mistakes.
MARIA, (40 - 50) – Randi’s stepmother. She has learned from her mistakes too.
JO, (28 - 45) – She is having a rough time.
SHEA, (30’S) – This is supposed to be the happiest day of her life.
ANN, (30 - 40) – Shea’s older sister, confusion is in her future.

MEN
RICH, (40 - 50) – A nice guy. He has started today full of hope.
STEVE, (30’s) – He is thrilled to have reached this moment.
BILL, (35 - 45) – He fell in love and that’s where he stayed.
BEN, (30 - 40) – He has been down and out and made it back.
MARCUS, (65+) – Marcus has a set thought process.
DAVE, (30’s) – Dave is not about to let a good thing get away.
