Back To School: Wayne 2021-2022 School Calendar

WAYNE, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Wayne, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Wayne Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Wayne is Sept. 9.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Wayne, but the school has yet to determine a masking policy for the coming fall semester.

Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Wayne Public Schools

First Day: Sept. 9

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31

Spring Break: April 11-14

Last Day: June 22
