Bears Release Paterson Native And Wide Receiver Victor Cruz: Reports
Cruz, 30, has had a history of injuries.

Paterson native and former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz has been released by the Chicago Bears, according to multiple media reports.

Cruz, 30, was a dynamic playmaker, Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, and a fan favorite when he played for the Giants. He was known for his salsa dances in the end zone after he'd score a touchdown.

Cruz had a career high of 1,536 yards in 2011 and 10 touchdowns in 2010.
Injuries later hampered his career. He missed the entire 2015 season with a knee injury.
