BJ's Is Coming To Wayne: Long-Anticipated Store, Gas Station On The Way

BJ's Wholesale Club applied in 2020 to open a store and gas station at the Willowbrook Mall. Now, it's official.

WAYNE, NJ — After two years of talks, BJ's Wholesale Club is on its way to Wayne. The upcoming opening is part of the company's 2022 development plans, the company announced Monday.

A company spokesperson said they didn't have an opening date yet, but BJ's expects to open in the township later this year.

BJ's applied in 2020 to open a 105,031-square-foot warehouse store and gas station at the Willowbrook Mall. New Jersey has 23 BJ's locations, but none are in Passaic County — the nearest to Wayne are in Riverdale, Paramus and East Rutherford.
