Boys & Girls Club Accepting Registrations for After School Program

College tutors will be available to help students with their homework.

The Boys & Girls Club of Wayne is accepting registration for its after school program for the 2013-14 school year.

About 150 Wayne kids enrolled in the program last year.

The state-certified program has the Power Hour, which promotes the importance of homework. Tutors of neighboring high schools and colleges volunteer Monday through Thursday to check students’ homework. Students can also complete optional worksheets. Students earn points for every worksheet they complete. Students can redeem their points at the end of the school year to participate in a tricky tray.
