Buffalo Wild Wings Coming To Wayne's Willowbrook Mall

Breaking: It will be the first Buffalo Wild Wings In Passaic County.

WAYNE, NJ — A Buffalo Wild Wings is coming to the Willowbrook Mall.

The Planning Board Monday unanimously approved an application to bring the restaurant to the mall. It will be the first Buffalo Wild Wings in Passaic County.

The 7,500-square-foot restaurant be located next to a courtyard across from The Cheesecake Factory. It can accommodate 312 patrons inside and 50 outside on a patio-like setting.

The chicken wing and sports bar chain will open the Wayne location as soon as possible, according to testimony taken at the meeting. It was already listed under the "coming soon" section of the Willowbrook Mall's website Monday night before a vote was taken.

"The mall is changing as we speak, becoming a place where people can shop and eat," said Mayor Chris Vergano, a member of the Planning Board.

There are 14 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in New Jersey, mostly in central and southern Jersey. The closest Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant to Wayne is in Parsippany.

Buffalo Wild Wings could become the stop for wings, beer, sports, and sports betting, ESPN reported.

"As the largest sports bar in America, we believe Buffalo Wild Wings is uniquely positioned to leverage sports gaming to enhance the restaurant experience for our guests," a Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson told ESPN. "We are actively exploring opportunities, including potential partners, as we evaluate the next steps for our brand."
