The Passaic County Office of Solid Waste & Recycling Programs will hold its next Used Clothing & Textiles Recycling Collection event on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 8 am to 1 pm in the parking lot of the Borough of Woodland Park, 5 Brophy Lane. This event is free of charge and open to all regardless of residency.
All discarded items should be clean, dry and odorless. Acceptable materials for disposal include:
Shoes: heels, flats, sandals, flip-flops, boots (all heights), sneakers, cleats, slippers
Clothing: T-shirts, blouses, tank tops, sweaters, hoodies, dresses, coats, jackets, blazers, pants, slacks, jeans, sweatpants, skirts, shorts, suits, socks, underwear, bras, slips
Accessories: hats, gloves, belts, ties, scarves, purses, bathrobes, backpacks, duffle bags, string bags, totes
Linens: sheets, pillowcases, blankets, comforters, curtains, drapes, aprons, dishtowels, towels, cloth napkins, table linens, quilts
Miscellaneous: luggage, sports jerseys, stuffed animals
