Enjoy Morning Bird Walk at Laurelwood Arboretum

Event Details

Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Dr W, Wayne, NJ, 07470

Welcome the sights and sounds of New Jersey’s birds with a free morning walk on May 23. Walkers meet at 8:30 am at the Sensory Garden located near the Vale Road parking lot at Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive West, Wayne. Walks are geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome. For a better birding experience, wear appropriate attire, bug spray and sunblock, and bring binoculars.

Walks will proceed even if there is light rain. Participants should check the laurelwoodarboretum.org website for updates in the event of rain. Heavy rain cancels.

“On our bird walks, we’ll follow three easy steps—listen, observe, identify—as we stroll along the beautiful woodland trails to spot colorful spring migrants, as well as our friendly year-round residents,” said walk leader Sharon Lewis.
