Cedar Crest Activities Fair Highlights Clubs on Campus

With more than 190 clubs on campus, there is something for everyone.

From the Garden Club to the Ping Pong Pals, a variety of interests and talents were on display at the activities fair at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Living retirement community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. With more than 190 clubs on campus, there is something for everyone.

On March 26, more than 300 residents attended the entertaining event and learned about the vibrant opportunities the community offers through its resident-run and resident-driven activities. Pursuits include arts and crafts, cultural, educational, games, movies, music and theater, social, travel, volunteering, fitness and more.

“This popular annual event provides a venue for our club leaders to showcase their groups and attract new members and ideas,” said Community Resources Manager Amy Wagener.

“There are so many opportunities at Cedar Crest for our residents to get involved, have fun, expand their knowledge, and make new friends,” said Wagener. “Our residents can join existing groups, or if they want to try something different, form a new club.”
