Cedar Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, celebrated its 20 years of excellence in senior living with a series of anniversary events throughout September.

The celebration started on September 1, with more than 400 residents, staff, and family members, along with bagpipe players, participating in the kickoff parade throughout campus. The fun continued throughout the month with a variety of events, including a Grandparents Day carnival and antique car show, resident art show, poetry readings, Alpaca Farm, Fall Fling Harvest Hop, commemorative ceremony, game shows, history display, and more.

The highlight of the month was the nautical-themed 20th Anniversary Gala held on September 30 at Woodland Commons' "Cruise Ship." Residents and staff enjoyed each other's company and danced the night away at the festive event. The party included a Pirates' Cove Bar, casino, Venetian Table, delicious food and cocktails, music, and photos by the Cruise Ship's photographer.
