Cedar Crest Celebrates Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday

Live jazz band, desserts, a coffee bar, specialty drinks including the Hurricane, Bourbon Street Punch and more!

Residents at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, celebrated Mardi Gras on February 16 with a festive evening event featuring a live jazz band, desserts, a coffee bar, and specialty drinks including the Hurricane, Bourbon Street Punch, and Mindy Citrus Fizz.

The fun continued the next morning, February 17, with a delicious Fat Tuesday Breakfast.

At Cedar Crest, residents enjoy countless opportunities to socialize through happy hours, clubs, volunteer efforts, creative pursuits, and shared meals. Thanks to the community’s maintenance‑free lifestyle, residents are declaring their independence from the headaches of homeownership and embracing an active, vibrant way of living.
