Charity Walk In Memory Of Wayne 6-Year-Old Is Saturday

WAYNE, N.J. - The Lily LaRue Anderson Foundation will host a special charity walk at Packanack Elementary School Saturday at 9 a.m.

The foundation is a non-profit dedicated to helping children and families diagnosed and affected by a rare form of brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma.

Anderson was diagnosed with the disease in May 2014 and died after a courageous fight against it for nearly a year. She died April 6, 2015.
